Description of Project
This project is based on the propositions/ballot measures that we will be voting for at November 7, people are deciding on who to vote for as president but they aren't focused on whether some ballot measures should pass or not. With this project we had "voltron squads" pretty much a group of two or three that come together as a whole group. Within those groups we learned about local politics, how to interview people, how to edit and we became more fluent with the work. In my group I worked with Ysa, Ambahr, Alejandro and Jonah. We were working on proposition

2 Pieces of work
In the first page we had to research about the ballot measure that was assigned to us. I got proposition 67 which is the prohibition on single use plastic bags. I had to research about the pros and cons of this ballot measure and who is supporting it and who isn't. With this I had the basic knowledge of what a ballot measure is and what it consists of. I also realized that some ballot measures don't necessarily tell the truth, or they twist it. For example, with proposition 67, they will ban plastic bags but they wont give andy of the money to the environment.
In the second page we had to listen to interviews and think how we can use what they have in their podcast and how we can put it in ours. So like grabbing ideas and creating our own podcast with our own twist. We had to write about what struck in the podcast, saying like anything interesting about the interview, the host, the transitions and such. Then we had to write about how their format is and how it would help with our podcast. |

Interview Map
|
The interview map is like our base to start the interview. We start the interviews with questions on the paper then we branch off into other questions. Its pretty much like a push to begin the interview. We have two interview maps. One for Roland Shaw, who is assistant principle in Denver Colorado and another one for Cat Packer who is campaign coordinator for Californians for responsible marijuana reform. The reason why we had two was because they are two different people so we had to ask questions about their work, their view/thoughts, how it affects them and the people around them and such.
