Problem Statement
in this problem we were supposed to estimate the height of the flagpole using the shadow method at first which was to measure a persons height and height of their shadow and with that measure the height of the shadow of the flagpole. We also used another way which was the mirror method which was to place the mirror ant the end of the shadow and up to where you move is when you can see the flag pole at the mirror.
:Shadow method:
In this method what we had to do was measure our original height and our shadows height. What me and my partner did was with the shadows height of one of ours we used it to measure the flagpole's shadow and with that we got the answer.
Ex.
Ambahr's Height: 5ft 1
Ambahr's Shadow height: 7ft
With Ambahr's shadow's height it takes approximate five of them to reach the flagpole's shadow from one end to the other including 4 more feet.
7 x 5 = 35 + 4 = 39
And with the answer we were given we rounded it up to 40 ft.

:Mirror method:
You can actually use a mirror and the principle of light reflections to measure the heights of objects. All that is needed is a flat surface preferably the floor to place your mirror. You lay the mirror at a distance from the object them you move slowly backward away from the object while looking down at the mirror until you are able to see the object in the mirror.
When we used this method we had three sides.
60 in = Ambahr height
19 in = distance from the mirror to Ambahr
138 in = distance from the flagpole to the mirror

:Isosceles method:
An Isosceles triangle is a triangle with two lengths of the same side. In this method we had to draw a diagram of a right isosceles triangle that had angle ABC where the flagpole is the side AB and we had to find angle AC.

Problem Evaluation
I did not like this problem because it was really easy and it wasn't challenging. At the first time that we went outside to measure our shadows and the flag poles shadow we already got the answer but then the following times weren't necessary, and we spent too much time on it.
Self Evaluation
How I think I did with this problem was that I think I did good. It was easy to solve so I didn't need all the time that was given to solve it. With the work that was given like the spiders and the mirrors, it was easy but I felt like it was too easy.
